特异性 ATP citrate lyase Rabbit Recombinant mAb detects endogenous level of total ATP citrate lyase.
背景 ATP-citrate lyase (ACLY) is a cytosolic enzyme that catalyzes the generation of acetyl CoA from citrate. ACLY is a cross-link between glucose and/or glutamine metabolism and fatty acid synthesis and/or mevalonate pathways. Acetyl CoA is an essential substrate for fatty acid synthesis and mevalonate pathways. ACLY is upregulated in several types of cancer cells and that, upon inhibition of ACLY, cancer cells undergo a proliferation arrest both in vivo and in vitro. ACLY plays an important role in regulating histone acetylation levels in diverse mammalian cell types. It is required for optimal proliferation, and simply increasing nuclear-cytosolic acetyl-CoA production is insufficient to fully replace ACLY.
