特异性 Cdc25C Rabbit Recombinant mAb detects endogenous level of total Cdc25C.
背景 CDC25 phosphatases, which are believed to be important regulators of cell cycle progression, dominate entry into mitosis by regulating the activation of CDK1/cyclin B. Catalyzed by these dual specificity phosphatases, cyclin/CDKs are dephosphorylated and actived after removal of inhibitory phosphate groups from Thr14 and Tyr15. In higher-eukaryotic cells, three isoforms of CDC25 denoted CDC25A, CDC25B and CDC25C exist. While Cdc25A is involved in the regulation of the Gl-to-S phase transition, Cdc25B and Cdc25C play an important role at the G2-to-M transition. Cdc25C interacts with two isoforms of 14-3-3, namely 14-3-3ε and 14-3-3ζ. The binding of 14-3-3 proteins to Cdc25 is high during interphase and absent during mitosis.
