特异性 Dopamine Transporter Rabbit Recombinant mAb detects endogenous level of Dopamine Transporter.
背景 The dopamine transporter (DAT) controls the spatial and temporal dynamics of dopamine (DA) neurotransmission by driving reuptake of extracellular transmitter into presynaptic neurons. DAT belongs to the SLC6 family of transporters that couple inward solute transport to downhill movement of Na+ and Cl−. DAT is regulated by multiple signaling systems, with PKC and ERK being two of the most well-characterized. DAT is the major mechanism responsible for clearance of extracellular dopamine and is regulated by post-translational modifications and binding partner interactions. Dysregulation of DAT is found in many dopaminergic diseases such as ADHD and bipolar disorder, Angelman syndrome and Parkinson's disease.
