特异性 NFAT2 Rabbit Recombinant mAb detects endogenous levels of total NFAT2.
背景 The NFAT (nuclear factor of activated T cells) family of transcription factors have crucial roles in the development and function of the immune system. In T cells, NFAT proteins not only regulate activation but also are involved in the control of thymocyte development, T-cell differentiation and selftolerance. The NFAT family consists of five members: NFAT1 (also known as NFATp or NFATc2), NFAT2 (also known as NFATc or NFATc1), NFAT3 (also known as NFATc4), NFAT4 (also known as NFATx or NFATc3) and NFAT5. The main mode of NFAT regulation is through calcium and calcineurin. In addition, NFAT2 is also regulated at the transcriptional level through an autoregulatory loop. NFAT1, NFAT2 and NFAT4 are all co-expressed in T cells and are activated in response to TCR engagement.
