特异性 Reptin/RUVBL2 Rabbit Recombinant mAb detects endogenous levels of total Reptin/RUVBL2.
背景 Reptin (also called RUVBL2) belongs to the AAA+ (ATPases associated with diverse cellular activities) superfamily of ATPases. Reptin has been associated with many biological processes, such as chromatin remodelling, transcription regulation and stabilisation of all members of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-related protein kinase (PIKK) family, including mTOR (mechanistic target of rapamycin). Reptin interacts with transcription factors, including β-catenin and c-Myc. It is demonstrated that reptin directly interacts with the PCD protein Lrrc6/Seahorse and this interaction is critical for the in vivo function of Lrrc6/Seahorse in zebrafish, suggesting that reptin functions in both cilia specific and cilia independent in vertebrate development. Reptin is also a regulator of mTOR signalling in the liver and global glucido-lipidic homeostasis. Reptin is essential for sustaining the hyperproliferative state and clonogenic potential, as well as suppressing apoptosis, of human AML cells, both MLL-rearranged and non-MLL rearranged.
