特异性 SNAP23 Rabbit Recombinant mAb detects endogenous level of total SNAP23.
背景 Members of the SNARE-family of proteins are known to be key regulators of the membrane-membrane fusion events required for intracellular membrane traffic. The ubiquitously expressed SNARE protein SNAP-23 regulates a wide variety of exocytosis events. The SNARE proteins on the target membranes for vesicles are termed t-SNAREs. SNAP-23 is a kind of t-SNAREs and a cellular homologueof SNAP-25. In most cells, it serves as the t-SNARE protein taking part in the formation of SNARE complexes which precedes membrane fusion and exocytosis. While SNAP-25 protein signal was weak in the cytoplasm and strong in the plasma membrane, SNAP-23, on the other hand, was distributed in the cytoplasm and in the plasma membrane region.
