| 背景 | DPP4, also known as CD26, is a serine exopeptidase belonging to the S9B protein family that cleaves X-proline dipeptides from the N-terminus of polypeptides, such as chemokines, neuropeptides, and peptide hormones. The enzyme is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein, expressed on the surface of many cell types. DPP4 is widely expressed in several cell types, particularly in exocrine glands and absorptive epithelia. DPP4 has a post-proline dipeptidyl amino peptidase activity, preferentially cleaving Xaa-Pro dipeptides from oligopeptides. Additionally, it participates in adenosine deaminase binding, cell matrix adhesion, the migration and invasion of endothelial cells into collagenous matrices, costimulation during T cell activation, and interaction with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) proteins. |
