| 背景 | The MyoD, or myogenic determination, family consists of a group of related basic helix-loop-helix DNA binding proteins, the members of which include MyoD1/myf-3, myogenin/myf4, myf5, and myf-6 (MRF4, herculin). The MyoD family of genes is expressed significantly earlier during myogenesis than are structural proteins such as desmin, actins, or myoglobin. MyoD1 is a nuclear phosphoprotein that plays a major role in regulating muscle differentiation. MyoD is one of the earliest markers of myogenic commitment. |
