小鼠 P - 选择素（又称 GMP-140、LECAM-3、PADGEM、CD62P）是选择素家族成员，表达于活化血小板和内皮细胞表面。在凝血酶、组胺、PMA 或过氧化物刺激下，它可在数分钟内从血小板 α 颗粒或内皮细胞威尔伯兰德 - 帕拉德体转移至细胞膜表面，并能结合髓系细胞、中性粒细胞、单核细胞和淋巴细胞表面的 PSGL-1。该蛋白参与白细胞与内皮细胞的黏附过程，与 L - 选择素协同介导白细胞在内皮表面的初始 “滚动”，后续通过与 E - 选择素、ICAM-1 及 VCAM-1 的相继作用，推动白细胞完成跨血管壁渗出。小鼠 P - 选择素 cDNA 编码含 768 个氨基酸的 Ⅰ 型跨膜蛋白，包括 41 个氨基酸的信号肽、668 个氨基酸的胞外域、跨膜域和 35 个氨基酸的胞质域，其胞外域的结构组成与人源 P - 选择素一致，且二者胞外域序列同源性约为 73%。
